What Service Is Right For Me?

Here at Apex we pride ourselves on making sure customers are provided with the right service for their needs. Prior to any work being carried our a specialist will be on hand to provide clients with a detailed and informed assessment of what work would best suit their vehicle, ensuring that the result will be one of amazement at how good your pride and joy will look.

Below is an overview of the services offered to enable our clients a better understanding of the differences between each service.

Valet services are recommended for vehicles which are generally clean and well maintained. They offer the customer a high spec clean of their car, as ever with the Apex attention to detail. The services are considered a good follow up maintenance to the more comprehensive detailing services that we offer.

Detailing services are the next step up in automotive cosmetic maintenance and involve a more thorough preparation of your car with intricate detailing methods being used to ensure breathtaking results. One aspect of the detailing services that we offer is in respect of the condition of the vehicle paintwork. By having an understanding of the construction of automotive paint and its application process it is possible to restore paintwork to a better than showroom condition and ensure any vehicle can have paint with a silky glass like finish. Detailing services are more time consuming that valet services but produce far superior results.

The paint correction detail that we offer here at Apex is aimed at vehicles that may have minor damage to their paintwork resulting from normal everyday use. Poor washing practices often result in 'swirls' being induced into the lacquer which sits on top of your vehicles paint. These can often be very unsightly, especially in bright sunlight and on dark colored vehicles. Pollutants and fallout from  the atmosphere, together with contaminants such as bird poo and tree sap which both have high acidic properties can cause unsightly marring of paintwork which cannot be removed through normal washing practices. However, through a multi stage polishing process all of these impurities can be removed from a vehicles paintwork and the paint given a pure glass like finish to both look at and touch. As a rule of thumb any scratch to the vehicles paintwork can be removed provided it has not penetrated the lacquer which is on top of the paint. A test for this is running your fingernail lightly across a scratch and provided it doesn't snag on the scratch we should be able to remove it via polishing techniques. An assessment of any damage will provided by a specialist prior to any work being undertaken. As part of the paint correction process, paint depths will be recorded.
